MY ROOTS CRAFTSMANSHIP & CARE WARRANTY

 

At My Roots, our rings are designed to be worn, lived in, and stand the test of time. Our rings are made from real wood and other organic materials, which means they are unique, responsive to their environment, and require thoughtful care. 

Our wood rings are water-resistant. Our team of jewelers protect and seal these materials in with a powerful adhesive, but they are not meant to be worn in the shower or in the hot tub/pool/lake/ocean. Defects will not occur from general exposure to water, but we recommend not making a habit of regular exposure. When handwashing, always dry your ring and hands thoroughly afterwards. **Obvious submerged water damage to your wood ring will void your Warranty.

Be sure to keep your Wood ring away from harsh chemicals (bleach, Lysol, hand sanitizer, nail polish remover, etc), as these can react to the finish. Wood rings are not recommended for healthcare professionals who plan to wear their ring to work. We also do not recommend wearing your wood ring during physical labor or during gym time – take advantage of your free silicone band in these circumstances.

1-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty

 

We offer a one-year manufacturer’s warranty from the date your ring is delivered.

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Structural issues caused by craftsmanship

  • Rings that fail due to a verified defect in construction

If a defect is confirmed, we will repair or replace the ring at no cost to you.

 

 

One Complimentary Refinish

 

Each ring includes one complimentary cosmetic refinish over the lifetime of ownership.

This service covers:

  • Surface scratches

  • Cosmetic wear from normal daily use

Please note:

  • Limit of one refinish per ring over the lifetime of ownership

  • Does not include resizing, structural repair, or material replacement

 

 

What Is Not Covered

 

The following are not covered under this warranty:

  • Loss or theft

  • Resizing due to weight change or hand swelling

  • Cracks, breaks, or deformation caused by impact

  • Water damage or prolonged exposure to moisture

  • Damage caused by harsh chemicals or cleaning agents

  • Normal wear and aging beyond the complimentary refinish

  • Damage caused by misuse (including heavy labor, sports, swimming, or showering)

Because wood is a natural material, slight changes in color, texture, or grain over time are considered normal and are not manufacturing defects.

 

 

Care & Repair Services

 

If an issue falls outside of warranty coverage:

  • Paid refinishing services are available

  • Repairs are evaluated on a case-by-case basis

  • Loyalty discounts may apply

Submitting a Warranty Claim

To submit a claim, please contact us with photos and a description of the issue. We may request that the ring be returned for inspection before approving any warranty service.
